I’ll admit it, it took me awhile to jump on the blogging bandwagon (clearly, as this is my first post on my new blog). When the whole phenomenon started my first thoughts were along the lines of “why do I care what someone I don’t know had for lunch, or saw on the way to work” as well as “why would anyone else care the same about me?” But as it’s evolved I’ve learned how much more there is to it than that.
I’ve had an epiphiny and realized how great a vehicle blogging is to share information and learn in general. And, for me specifically, it is a great way to help even more people eat healthfully and enjoy their food, both at the same time. Showing people how they can eat nutritiously and deliciously has been a goal of mine for as long as I’ve been a registered dietitian.
I’ve always said, it’s not good enough to say a healthy food “tastes pretty good” or “doesn’t taste bad for lowfat/cal/sugar.” All food you eat, whether a nutritional allstar or something lower in the healthy rankings, should taste great!
Stay tuned to my newly launched blog to learn how you can live and raise your family (or just yourself) nutritiously and deliciously.
